This Operate Main and Auxilliary Machineries 101 Course (AuxMach1) is part and prerequisite for the NEW PMMA BSMARE Program. It aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements of the Competence: Operate Main and Auxiliary Machinery under Table III/1 – Specifications of minimum standard of competence for officers in charge of an engineering watch in a manned engine room or designated duty engineers in a periodically unmanned engine room
This course is a part of the require a total of 504 instructional hours to cover the topic areas enumerated in Part B – Course outline.
This course also encompasses the required standard of competences to undertake the task, duties, and responsibilities listed in column 1 of Table III/4 and Table III/5.
